AGRA's VALUE4HER initiative is a continental program that aims to strengthen women-led agribusinesses in Africa. Recognizing that women contribute up to 56% of agricultural labor in the region, AGRA seeks to bridge the gender gap in agricultural productivity and business performance.
This initiative will empower women agripreneurs by providing access to high-value markets, finance, investments, and capacity-building resources. The initiative targets women-owned agribusinesses in Malawi, Rwanda, Mozambique, Ghana, Nigeria, Uganda, Kenya, Burkina Faso, Mali, and Tanzania, equipping them to overcome barriers and contribute equitably to Africa’s agricultural transformation.
