Equip Consulting partnered with Genesis Analytics (South Africa) to conduct a study on Malawi’s readiness for the changing nature of work. The study explored critical questions shaping the future of work in Africa, including:

• How rapid technological change can expand work opportunities.
• The impact of shifting industry sectors and global value chains on youth employment.
• How stakeholders across Africa can respond to these changes to ensure the continent is not left behind.

The study provided insights to inform policy and programming aimed at preparing Malawi—and Africa more broadly—for the evolving world of work.

Successfully collected and analyzed data for final report.
