Description

From 2014 to 2019, the Development Fund of Norway (DF) supported the implementation of the Sustainable Agriculture Lead Farmer Program (SALFP) in selected districts of northern and central Malawi. The program focused on improving agricultural productivity through the promotion of Climate Smart Agriculture (CSA) technologies to ensure sustainable food production. It also introduced value addition initiatives to help farmers earn better prices for their products, while promoting market access and financial literacy.

After the program’s closure, DF engaged Equip to conduct a contribution analysis to assess the extent to which SALFP and other stakeholder interventions contributed to positive changes in the lives of the beneficiaries.
