Shire Valley Irrigation Project (SVIP)

The World Bank commissioned the development of an Agriculture Development Strategy for the Shire Valley Irrigation Programme (SVIP), aimed at unlocking the region’s agricultural potential. As part of this effort, Equip Consulting was contracted to conduct a market opportunities study to inform the strategy. The study focused on identifying high-potential value chains, assessing market demand, and providing recommendations to guide investment and planning within the SVIP framework.
